Maria Holland is a wonderful realtor and we wanted to share our story with others who are in the market for a real estate agent.

My husband and I were relocating to Nashville to begin new jobs. Although we had not yet sold our other home, Maria was willing to take us under her wing to introduce us to Nashville. Each time we went out, Maria took us to a different part of Nashville, as well as showing us a wide variety of home styles, neighborhoods and price ranges.

One of the things we liked the best about looking at homes with Maria was the way she pointed out things that we would have never noticed when walking through a home--pointing out upgrades or showing us things that will need to be fixed or replaced. In addition, she has a great eye for style and design, which was an added bonus. Plus, looking for homes with Maria was fun!

By the time we were ready to buy a home several months later, we felt confident that we found the part of Nashville that suited us best. It was during price negotiation that Maria really shined. By using her years of experience in negotiating, we know that we got the best possible price for our new home. She handled every bit of red tape for us.

After we moved in there were many other areas that Maria helped us with. She recommended painters, inspectors, home decor stores and she gave us information about registering to vote and where to get new driver's licenses.

It was an absolute blessing to work with Maria. My wife and I were looking to buy our first house, and we couldn't have known less about the process. We were just very intimidated by the whole thing--from looking at houses online to setting up in-house viewings, and from the offer/counter-offer process to sealing the deal. Toss in the fact that my wife and I had a very specific area of town and a very narrow price range in mind, and we soon realized we were more than a bit lost.

After being referred to Maria, though, the whole process was smooth sailing. Maria had an answer to every question we could think of--and believe me, there were plenty. We've heard that some agents can be pushy, but Maria was extremely congenial and always worked at our pace. It was obvious that Maria had our best interest at heart, and not every agent can claim that. As a first time home buyer I did a lot of research on how to choose the right realtor. Much of what I read said to be extremely cautious because many realtors were likely to be more concerned about getting the largest commission possible rather than finding the perfect home and price for their clients. Maria put my concerns to rest right away. She was willing to invest a lot of time and effort in working with me even though I had a small budget. Since I was a newcomer to Nashville, Maria was a definite asset to have because of her knowledge of Nashville neighborhoods. She also did a great job protecting my interests in negotiating the best possible price and working with the seller to make appropriate concessions based on an inspection that required quite a few fixes.

We just wanted to thank you for all your help in finding us the perfect home. Being a first time buyer, we weren't familiar with everything that went along with purchasing a home and weren't set on using a realtor. You were referred to us and what a blessing! There is no way we could have done any of it without you!

I was offered a job in Nashville, but had to find, buy and move into a home within a 4 week time period. From the very beginning, you were extremely helpful and available to my millions of phone calls and questions. You showed us many different areas of Nashville and got a really good feel for what style of home we were looking for.
